Asael Adjoudj (9-1-0) and Yves Landu (21-9-0) aim to stay in contention in the featherweight division on Friday night. This has a chance to be a quality bout between two gifted athletes.

Adjoudj has the edge, according to the latest PFL World Championship betting odds. At -210, the favorite has a 67.7% implied probability to get the win, and I believe that number should be slightly higher.

“The Sultan” enters on a nine-fight win streak. After losing his debut as a professional, Adjoudj has been on an absolute tear. That defeat came on Feb. 22, 2020, and the 26-year-old hasn’t had a mishap since then.

The former Bellator star is an incredibly well-rounded fighter who has the talent to win in different ways and capitalize on mistakes. Through 10 fights, Adjoudj has won four by decision, two by submission, and three by TKO/KO. Over his previous three bouts, he won via unanimous decision, ground punches, and a guillotine choke.

The more versatile fighter in this fight should emerge victorious, and that’s Adoudj. Landu will step into the ring for the first time since a split decision victory over Jonas Bilharinho in May 2024. He’s won his last two bouts by split decision and contests that could have gone in either direction.

Landu hasn’t won by TKO/KO since beating Gavin Hughes with a leg kick in May 2022. He will struggle against Adoudj, who might the most underrated fighter on this card.

Adoudj should probably be a -300 favorite, so I’ll side with the Frenchman for my PFL World Championship 2025 predictions!
